after a long I finally decide to check on my DA account--the one I used to love and when I saw this place, I went like... GOSHHHH! the account is like half-dead and half-alive, if it is a person. oh mannn...

been drawing QUITE a lot lately, and been studying like hell nowadays too. oh... dang my college! I entered that college for a major called Gaming-Animation, all I've pictured before was like I'm gonna jump into some kind of MAYA software works, but what I get??

C++ Programming man! oh God... that monster was crazy. by the way, this is the end of the term and I'm supposed to do some kind of a final project...which is a total hell coz I have to do it with the TURBO C++ IDE software!

pleaseeee mannn... that software is g'damned out-of-date. it is not compatible anymore with Windows XP. it's for damn Windows 95! yet they are forcing us, poor students, to do so! that stupid program eats lotsa of RAM so when it is opened... the other program run HANG mannn! Goshhh!

when I ask the leader of the so-called IT Departement, he didn't give significant answer man! no solvency for the problem whatsoever. damn. he said that the Singaporean institute (which will later cross-checked our final projects) demands us to do so with Turbo coz it has the ctype (color typing) commands and so on so that we can create colorful texts = good looking program.

GAHHHH!!! this is the Borland C++ builder era mannn! that's with GUI!!! G-U-I! Graphical User Interface! geddit? oh God... that's wayyyy better. why do they have to STUCK in the past? silly.

it's like we are forced to live inside caves (and make cave paintings and even HUNT animals for meal) when the year shows 2008.

and the time of study have been forced on us students like hell. the leader of the dept want things to be completed in like just... 10 appointments! with each 3 hours per appointment.

oh mannn! how do u supposed to learn basic programming acknowledgement in just 10 appointments?? other universities (local programmes, not int'l ones like mine), have appointments THREE TIMES A WEEK with each 3 hours appointment! can u imagine that?

do you know what the leader of the dept said?
"everything's going to be alright coz when I was in Aussie, things are also going that way."

I don't give a damn.
not when I dunno whether you're taking advanced class programming or what.
but we're all beginners! for God's sake!
how do we recall the rule of array, strings, files, and record-based programs (the struct command) in just 3 appointments???

gosh mister... go to home, cool your head, drink a gallon of water and pray to get a life!

everything's forced and that impacts me really damn well too.
to accomplish everything well I have to wake up until 2 o'clock in the morning (when that day has a hectic schedule and I back home like 5 or 6 o' clock in the afternoon) and study the coding man! I have to do a lot of training unless I want to die young because of stress without understanding anything.

thank God there's a book by Budi Raharjo which I can really lean on as another reference for C++ Programming. he's really a good writer. because of this book, I understand everything clearly and finally can do the coding. compare the book to the module my univ give: trash trash trashhhhh... *not really that trashy actually, but this awesome Budi Raharjo book makes my module seems quite trashy *

no wonder the module book is really thin coz it contains almost nothing man! they just give the definition and the rule and then they JUMP (yea... just like that yeaaa...) to the sample programs and most of the times I went instantly like "what the heck?" and they are still using the void main (void) while it's no longer valid in modern C++ builders. gosh.


well, we have a great lecturer though. he's a big WOW (and I mean it... WOW! he has an all-level programming certificate from Cambridge *I heard so* ) in programming and is also very attentive to his students... but great lecturer+trashy module??? it's like throwing a diamond into the sea mann! T___T things will still remain quite sad until the department will finally decide to update the modules. (and thank God if they will also finally concern about the Turbo C++ matters, which is actually kinda impossible ).


yeahhhh... feeling so damn better after this post. *taking a deep breath*
